Peace Flag
Football lovers to combat fights among supporters in and outside stadiums.
About the project
We substituted the traditional assistant referees’ flags of all Paulistão games, in 2014, by white flags to educate fans about violence at the stadiums.
The campaign phrase – “For peace it is not offside” – was stamped on signs and banners on the field, drawing the attention of thousands of fans and the media, who spontaneously advertised the action. The violence, during the campaign period, decreased by 98% – a very encouraging result.
